Paz Cabo
My name is Paz Cabo and I have run Weekend Coffee & Spanish Courses and Events in Glasgow and Edinburgh since 2019. I am a professional Spanish linguist with many years of tutoring and language consultancy experience. I studied my Degree in Hispanic Philology, and my Masters in High Specialisation Spanish Linguistics & Literature and Hispanic Philology. Awarded Outstanding and Cum Laude, I completed professional Courses in Spanish for Specialist Purposes, Spanish Art and Culture and Linguistics.
I studied my MA studies in TV Fiction Scriptwriting in 2021-22 at Caledonia University (Glasgow).

I am also a Spanish singer-songwriter, passionate about music and lyrics.
I came up with this idea when I lived in Bristol, where I ran a successful Tapas and Spanish Events business. After a while, I decided to come back to Spain to get more inspiration and to update my experience with new courses and training. I moved to Scotland in July 2019 and based myself in Glasgow. Today I run popular Spanish courses in Glasgow, Edinburgh (Leith), and East Lothian (Musselburgh, Haddington, Aberlady and North Berwick). My business provides an enriched learning environment that has helped countless students and organisations get ahead. I offer Communicative and Cultural Spanish Lessons (all levels) in cafes and bars in Edinburgh (Stockbridge, Leith, Portobello), and East Lothian (Musselburgh, Haddington, Aberlady and North Berwick). I also offer Courses in Tapas and Spanish at Private Events, birthdays, and celebrations.
